Post 8: English Language Challenge

Imagen
Finally the last post! I'm a little tired and exhausted but I enjoyed the English class. In general, I use English in college as a tool for my future job because I hope to travel to another country and I'm going to need English proficiency.       Currently, I can cross the typical line of "I can understand everything they are trying to tell me but I can't respond to anything. And now, I should answer a lot of things and they could understand me but obviously my accuracy is not very precise and accurate. However, I feel hope and conviction as confidence to speak in English and I will speak very well with time as the best teacher.      I think I should train my conjugation because I manage the differences between past, present and future sentences. But when I have to apply it I usually fail in some things. I intend to train that with movies and series, watching those movies/series only in English (without subtittles) and paying attention to how they tell their sen

Post 7: Changes to my study programme

Imagen
It is always good to have feedback, maybe a little bit is enough. Especially in my career, the planning is too young and new and this makes a lot of mistakes while the student gets into the duration of the career.         While we were studying, the department built a new green area near our classroom (I invented a nickname for it, it is called "La Jaimo" in honor of the professor who managed it. hahaha). I understand that they can't do more for the infrastructure because it's an old tower in the heart of Santiago. That's fine with me.       I suggest changing the focus of science from mandatory to optional. We need more stability in the department because they have a lot of turnover in positions. I recommend more practice and less theory because when we will work in our areas we will know a lot but we will not be able to put it into practice and this makes us insecure as a professional person.  They should reevaluate the structure of the curriculum. We have

Post 6: Time travel to the past or the future

Imagen
I wouldn't want to choose between traveling to the past or the future because nothing guarantees that you can go back to your timeline and I hate time paradoxes. This issue makes me unable to enjoy time travel. If I had to choose one of them, it would be the past because I would try to fix this world with all the big mistakes in history, for example the nuclear bomb, ecology, making the world more sustainable and I would like to travel to the future to see if anything changed.  I should go with my sister because she is a beautiful person and if I want to change this disastrous world I think she is the right person for this task. And we fell in love with physical science, especially quantum science and she can stop me from making a paradox since she is so careful with me however I don't think of another person to make this trip. And we could make the time machine to come back to own time. Sorry, this is a paradox. If we can broke the loop, after of try to save the world we woul

Post 5: My future job

Imagen
Hello everyone, this time it's my turn to post about my future job. I am studying Sound Engineering and I would like to be a music producer or music artist. I hope to be one of the best in this industry and to be able to share my experience with the new generations and motivate them to take a risk and try to make a living from music.  On the other hand, sound is complex, it has a lot of mathematical, physical and psychological issues and that's amazing. I would like to do a specialization in musicology, specifically in music and musical interaction in the mind and the emotional theme.  I think my work is good indoors, because we need a good "product" and this product is built in the studio. With hours and hours to make a better sound and that take a lot of time. However, if I were famous, I would travel a lot. Imagine you work for the biggest record label in the world, you won't have time because all your time has to be dedicated to travel, records, shows and mark

Post 4: Art

Post 4: Art      Oh wow! Art... it's so abstract and beautiful at the same time that I don't know for where start. Besides, for me, art is anything made with passion and this thing can do a transmission of emotions to the receiver. Art is life for me, it can bring back moments, memories, people you can no longer feel and it's magical. I'd like to think of something else in my life that can do that.     The main art in my life is musical art but I can't call myself a musician because I don't play any instrument very skillfully. On the other hand, I felt an energy with music when I was a kid. My father is a big fan of rock music groups, Metallica, Queen, Soda Stereo, for example.     My favorite genre is Hip Hop/Rap and I participate in this genre. Also, I went to Freestyle Rap Battle for a long time. I won some tournaments but I couldn't participate in the biggest one in Santiago. In this area I felt jealous with my colleagues because I thought I was better t

Post 3: The best concert I've been to

Post 3: The best concert I've been to It is very difficult to choose just one concert, but Metallica's concert at the Estadio Monumental in 2014. Wow, it's a long time but I feel this concert was yesterday. Metallica is an iconic rock band of the 1980's. and my father's favorite band. When I was a kid, I have a lot of memories listening to this band. So powerful is their show that when they finish, your ears still feel a vibration. Sounds amazing, they had two towers with speakers to compensate for the distance of the gallery. It sounded amazing, they had two towers with speakers to compensate for the distance from the gallery and this felt incredible. The energy in the stadium smelled like a challenge and the band accepted it and we got a massive energy from the best in rock. I went with my whole family, as we were all always listening to the band since we were kids. So I remember it with great joy because it was a happy moment with the people I love the most.

Post 2: All times past were better

My childhood was amazing, I have many memories of playing different things. A soccer game at recess at school or the typical song on the Playstation 2 console at the beginning of our adventures. I will always remember when I started playing soccer with my best friend. Today, almost twenty years later, we are very close friends and we have many funny stories. When I was a kid, around nine years old, in a school break with my friend we started playing soccer, but I thought he was better than me and I told him if he can teach me how to play or make me a better player, and he tells me "I just run after the ball and hit it with my feet" and this literally teaches me nothing I don't know and this moment always makes me feel happy and I smile. I spend a lot of time of my life with games, virtual and real. Since I was a kid, it was always playing anything with sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, etc. In high school, I got into eSports (electronic sports) playing games lik
