Post 8: English Language Challenge
Finally the last post! I'm a little tired and exhausted but I enjoyed the English class. In general, I use English in college as a tool for my future job because I hope to travel to another country and I'm going to need English proficiency.
Currently, I can cross the typical line of "I can understand everything they are trying to tell me but I can't respond to anything. And now, I should answer a lot of things and they could understand me but obviously my accuracy is not very precise and accurate. However, I feel hope and conviction as confidence to speak in English and I will speak very well with time as the best teacher.
I think I should train my conjugation because I manage the differences between past, present and future sentences. But when I have to apply it I usually fail in some things. I intend to train that with movies and series, watching those movies/series only in English (without subtittles) and paying attention to how they tell their sentences.
I usually like to speak in English with my friends as a training method. Or when we talk about life and day to day life, at a certain moment we have a pause to think how to say these phrases in English, obviously we have a failure because no one knows how to speak perfect English (i.e. no one is a native speaker). In another case, this happens when we see something on TV in English and we say something like "Oh that's how you say this" and we rewind the scene to learn how to say that.
